Shirbul is an invented word in Hebrew for "remix" (as no such word yet exists). It is also the name of this compilation, which documents a process that started, almost by chance, about 5 years ago, and has developed into a full body of work. Some of these tracks are sung in Hebrew, some in English, but all the original tracks were made by Israeli Artists, and therefore “Shirbul” does not include any of the remixes that were made for international acts during these same years.
